Michigan Fishing Reports

2/20/2012 - Grand River Fishing Report

The Grand has been a little hit or miss. We have been getting fish every trip but not the huge numbers you see in early spring. If you are looking to get on the river and hook a bunch of steelhead book a trip with us on the Grand in March, you will not be disappointed. We have multiple boats and licensed guides to run the river so even if you have a large group we can get you in on the action.
2/20/2012 - Muskegon River Fishing Report

Fishing remains good on the MO. There are fresh steelhead entering the system daily and willing to bite. Backbouncing and float fishing has been taking most fish. The steelhead fishing will remain good through April but March is prime time and dates are filling fast. Give us a call today to get in on the action.
2/9/2012 - Detroit River Fishing Report

We are NOW booking for the 2012 Walleye season on the Detroit River. We will be running our trips in late April and there are very few trips available. This season we are also offering 4 hour afternoon trips $200/2 anglers. If your are looking to get in on the jigging action give us a call today!
2/9/2012 - Muskegon River Fishing Report

Last week the Muskegon was fishing GREAT, this week it has slowed down. There is a ton of steelhead in the system from the lake to the dam so the bite should be very good the next few weeks.
2/9/2012 - Grand River Fishing Report

The Grand is still high and not fishing that great. There are a few fish around but things should really start heating up in the next few weeks.
2/9/2012 - Inland Lakes Fishing Report

We are now offering Semi- Guided ice fishing trips on a few inland lakes in West Michigan. Heated shanties & all equipment is provided. The lakes have 8"+ of ice and the bluegill fishing on lite tackle has been great as well as pike being taken on tip-ups. Muskegon Lake is still wide open and it is starting to look like it may not have safe ice this season.
1/24/2012 - Inland Lakes Fishing Report

As of today 1-24-12 there is still no ice on Muskegon Lake. A few small inland lakes do have ice but it is really not safe. We will keep you posted and let you know when the ice is safe. Kyle
12/29/2011 - Lake Michigan Fishing Report

2012 Lake Michigan Forecast- Due to a very large forage base in Lake Michigan, the Salmon were much larger in 2011 than recent seasons. Mature King Salmon ranged from 16-25 pounds, with some fish around West Michigan topping the scales at over 30 pounds! With the strong forage base in Lake Michigan, 2012 should be a phenomenal season for both size and quantities of fish. We will have the boat in the water by May 1 so give us a call today to book you prime date in 2012.
12/29/2011 - Inland Lakes Fishing Report

Well with this mild weather we have not even seen skim ice let alone safe ice anywhere. There are perch in Muskegon Lake and the guys fishing in boats are catching around 30 keepers a guy. So, if the lake would ever freeze the fishing should be good. I don't see any really cold temps in the long term forecast so keep your fingers crossed that we even get safe ice this year. The Walleye fishing has been a little hit or miss on most nights but the pike fishing has been good at the east end of the lake.
12/29/2011 - Pere Marquette River Fishing Report

We fished the PM yesterday and the fishing was great. Big numbers of big steelhead is what this river is all about. We just fished with spawn under floats using centerpin set-ups.
12/29/2011 - Muskegon River Fishing Report

The Muskegon is full of Steelhead and with this mild weather fresh runs of steel just keep coming. The fishing as been great on most days, we have been putting up big numbers backbouncing spawn but float fishing with centerpin set-ups has also been deadly. With the mild temps, this could be some of the best winter fishing we have seen.
12/29/2011 - Grand River Fishing Report

The Grand has been fishing great. Big numbers of steelhead coming to the boat everyday. Most fish coming on Floats and spawn but don't overlook backbouncing or drop back plugs.
