Grand River Fishing Report
The Grand has been a little hit or miss. We have been getting fish every trip but not the huge numbers you see in early spring. If you are looking to get on the river and hook a bunch of steelhead book a trip with us on the Grand in March, you will not be disappointed. We have multiple boats and licensed guides to run the river so even if you have a large group we can get you in on the action.

The Grand is still high and not fishing that great. There are a few fish around but things should really start heating up in the next few weeks.

The Grand has been fishing great. Big numbers of steelhead coming to the boat everyday. Most fish coming on Floats and spawn but don't overlook backbouncing or drop back plugs.

While fun fishing today with Greg we witnessed one of the most un-sportsman acts I have ever seen. We were sitting in a spot fishing for a few hours and hooking a bunch of fish, a car pulls up (on private property)to the area we are at then sits there for 10-15 minutes and watches us hook a half dozen fish. After watching us 2 guys get out of the car, get dressed, grab their rod, chairs and gear. ...They walk right up to where our floats are and sit down. Now mind you we are fishing 3' from shore in a 20' section of bank and there is a ton of area up and down the bank they could fish. The "anglers" (term used very loosely) start casting there bobbers with in 1' of our floats!!!! Every time we hooked a fish they would reel up and cast to the exact spot the fish had just been hooked from. It got to the point they were fishing 5' from our boat and we could no longer fish without casting over their lines. The final straw was one of the guys went to his car and got another rod and threw that out so I had to cast over one of their lines to keep fishing and at one point we got tangled up. I reeled in his line unhooked it and tossed it back in the water. I then told him that I could not believe how un-sportsman like they were. He then tells me he is going to call the DNR so they can tell me he can fish any water he wants. We had a few more words over the next 20 minutes when Greg or I hooked a fish 1' foot from their bobbers. I had all I was going to take from this guy so we left before I ended up in jail. After putting the boat on the trailer I drove over to the area to get the guys license plate number just in case he wants to take this any further. In all my years of fishing I have never came across someone this un-sportsman like and just plain ignorant. P.S. Hope those dark Kings taste REALLY good tonight because I am sure the snagging hooks came out as soon as we left. Get a clue SCUMBAG!!!

The Grand is fishing really good for steelhead the past week, hopefully all the rain that has fallen the last few days does not blow out the river. Most fish coming on floats and spawn. Due to the high number of leaves falling we have not been able to run plugs.
