Detroit River Walleye

APRIL 20- May 5

Very limited number of openings, book early to insure a date. Learn the finer points of vertical jigging on one of the most productive walleye rivers in the world.

The Detroit River hosts a spring run of walleyes estimated between 10-12 million. Big Lake Erie walleyes and lots of them provide action for trophy class fish, and smaller "eaters" alike. This is hands on walleye fishing at its best. Those looking to catch big fish would do best booking Mid April. For sheer numbers of fish, late April through mid May is hard to beat.

Silver Lake Walleye

Spring and Summer Months

When people think about Silver Lake most of the time they picture cruising the sand dunes in a Jeep on an ORV. When we think about Silver Lake we think walleye! This lake is a diamond in the rough that we grew up fishing in the summertime. With 40 fish days many walleyes are throw backs but limit catches of 3-5# walleye are common in the early summer trolling spinners tipped with night crawlers.

Muskegon Lake Walleye

Nov. 1- ice up

Spend an evening walleye fishing on Muskegon Lake with a FULL TIME PROFESSIONAL fishing guide. If you are looking to catch a walleye of a lifetime Muskegon Lake is the place that can make it happen. The night time walleye in late Oct- ice up is the best fishing of the year with many fish caught over 12# every year. We use a few different techniques that include trolling stickbaits and casting diving crankbaits. All equipment is provided. Whether you are a avid fisherman or a beginner this trip is for you.

Grand & Muskegon River

Spring - Summer

These rivers are overlooked when it comes to walleye fishing. Spring through summer is the best time to catch good numbers of walleye on the river. When chasing walleyes we deploy a few different techniques casting Jigs tipped with a minnow, trolling spinners and casting plugs are most commonly used.
